"Curious, aren't we?"
At the beginning, I was just an ordinary black cat. Many considered me (and other black cats) as a sign or misfortune, hence why they treated me horribly. No one would ever take me into adoption. If any of their family member did take me in, it wouldn't last. They would always found any means of ushering me (to put it lightly, even I think it was an understatement). Being thrown out, kicked, or having my tail pulled were amongst things I've experienced and endured all my life. Although I did say I have enough experience with all of it, it didn't mean I was used to them.
I thought everything would change when one kind man finally took me in his care. He fed me, he bathed me, he gave me a place to sunbathe. He gave me toys and matatabi for me to play with. He gave me a home; a place where I could return back to. It was a foreign feeling, all I know in the past before was being beaten and toyed.
I don't hate it, even until this day.

Alas, the little happiness I had would never last. Two years later, a bastard broke inside the house. I was certain he wanted to rob the place. I woke up from my slumber when I heard a ruckus. When I arrived at the room where the noisiness came from (hey, it rhymed), I saw a pool ot blood with my owner laying down motionless. The person who brought the bloodied knife was short of breath. Angered, I bit the robber's leg as hard as I could. Seemed like he disliked cats as well, the next thing I knew that he threw me to the nearest wall.
That night before the darkness swallowed me whole, I resent humankind to its' very core.
I loathed humans, for putting my owner and I in immense suffering.
The Gods (or is it The Devil?) listened to my resentment. The next thing I knew, I woke up again. But I felt different. I was no longer weak and I could stand with two feet. I could sense a new power, surging through my body. I knew this power was my ticket to the second chance in my life. I was shocked, for certain. But luckily I met some who were the same as I, saying I turned into a bakeneko after I died. As time passed, I gained many abilities. For few, I managed to pay back for what the humans did to me.
After around 350 years, I became something you see in front of you. The feeling of revenge and resentment never died down.
Are you willing to stand by my side, us against the world? Or will you turn on me, just like everyone else?

Shape-Shifting
As any normal nekomata can, of course I can shapeshift. I can turn into whatever or whoever I want as I wish. A human, any animals (cats being obvious choice), or any item around. There's a limit to this ability however, like I can't transform into a human adult for too long as it drains my energy the most. The easiest thing to transform into are cats, little animals, human child or teenager.
Necromancy
Yes, you don't hear it wrong. I am able to revive and control dead beings. It's a good technique to shoo away humans from the mountain I lived in. I could use my technique to revive my owner, but I decided not to simply because I'm certain he wouldn't recognize me in this form. At least I can blackmail others with this ability.
Conflagration
Last but not least, I can summon massive amounts of fireballs. I don't understand the difference between nekomata's fire and kitsune's fire, but I can and already did burn an entire forest down with this particular ability of mine. Too bad only few people got injured in the incident.Oh. I just exposed myself, didn't I? Good.

"Want to know more about me, you say? Not a chance."
Soushi took his surname from his owner's last name. It means plain of harmony.
His first name was the name given by his owner. At first it was written in plain hiragana, but later he himself picked the kanji letters.
The first kanji (颯) means The sound of wind or the sound of the wind blowing quickly, while the second kanji (志) means Aspiration or where the mind aims.
He loves tuna and any other seafood products, but he dislikes any form of game meat because the taste was overwhelming for him.
Never try to ask about his height. If you were curious as of what would happen, you could try asking him directly.
He usually stays at the mountain area, but he occasionally comes down towards the nearest town to buy necessities.
After the incident of forest burning three years ago, Soushi decides to live nomadic style. This is to ensure nobody will recognize him easily.
Soushi commonly uses his human form or black cat form to walk around or just having a stroll in the woods. But if he's serious (during battles or threatened), he can morph into his nekomata form.
His nekomata form is similar with his black cat form, however the fur he has will be much fluffier and he has his two tails swaying around. He's also much larger to his smaller counterpart, around 3 meter in height.
More trivia will be added later.
